Your journey begins with a morning departure from Taipei, travelling through the impressive Hsuehshan Tunnel, one of the world's longest highway tunnels, before following Taiwan's spectacular east coast. En route, stop at the magnificent Qingshui Cliff, where towering marble cliffs plunge dramatically into the Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival, explore the beautiful Taroko National Park, beginning with the Taroko Visitor Center and the iconic Taroko Archway. Continue your scenic drive through the breathtaking Taroko Gorge, passing famous landmarks including the Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Cimu Bridge, and Xiangde Temple, where you'll have time to step out and admire the stunning mountain scenery before heading to Hualien for an overnight stay.
Note- Please be advised so if Taroko National Park is entirely closed upon your arrival, we will make the following change
Day 1- Taipei to Sun Moon Lake, Day 2- Sun Moon Lake – Lukang – Chiayi, Day 3- Chiayi – Alishan – Tainan
If the park is partially open and the central cross island highway is clear to pass, we will keep the original itinerary
