Day 1Arrive Colombo

On arrival at Colombo airport, meet our representative after customs. Transfer to Nuwarya Eliya. On arrival at Nuwarya Eliya, check in to hotel. Day free

Day 2Katha – Haggala Botanical Garden & Gayatri Amman Kovil

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Haggala Botanical Garden & Gayatri Amman Kovil. Situated at an elevation of about 1745 m above mean sea level, Hakgala Botanic Gardens, about 28 hectares in extent, lie under the shadow of the Hakgala Rock(meaning “Elephant’s jaw rock”). The Gayatri Amman Kovil is the very first temple dedicated for Goddess Gayathri. Gayathri Siddhar chose this place because it was a spiritual revelation. It is believed that the Tri Moortis – Siva, Brahma and Vishnu, appeared here when prince Meganath also known as Indrajit, son of an ancient Sri Lankan King Ravana Performed Siva Thapas and Nikumbala Yagna..

Day 3Katha – Ramboda Hanuman Temple & Tea Factory

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Ramboda Hanuman Temple&Tea Factory.

Ramboda Hanuman Temple lies 45 minutes from Nuwara Eliya on the Kandy Road. It is believed that this was the first place in Sri Lanka where Hanuman landed before starting the quest to look for Goddess Sita after she was kidnapped and before he gave her Lord Ram’s ring.

Day 4Katha – Sita Amman & Ella Ravana waterfalls

Katha – Sita Amman & Ella Ravana waterfalls In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Sita Amman &Ella Ravana waterfalls. Bathed in a sea of stunning colors, Sita Amman is the most famous temple in Nuwara Eliya owing to its beautiful architecture and the place where it has been built. It is believed that the Seetha Amman temple has been built right at the place where the erstwhile Ashoka Vatika was located. It was at this place that Goddess Sita was kept during after she had been captured by the demon king Ravana of Lanka. At a distance of 7 km from Ella Railway Station, Ravana Falls is a stunning waterfall situated in the hill town of Ella, Sri Lanka. According to legend, it is said that Ravana (who was the king of Sri Lanka at the time) had kidnapped princess Sita, and had hidden her in the caves behind this waterfall, now simply known as the Ravana Ella Cave.

Day 5Katha – Gregory Lake

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Gregory Lake. Lake Gregory is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy its natural beauty and  erene atmosphere. Time free to enjoy activites at the lake (optional).

Day 6Katha – Moon Plains

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Moon Plains, which is a 40 metre deep valley. It is a notable Agricultural & Environmental Tourism Zone since 2014.

Day 7Katha – Galway National Park

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Galway National Park. Located at a distance of 3km from the Nuwara Eliya, The Galway’s Land National Park is one of the few well-known national parks in the city, even if it is one of the smallest ones. The park consists of many exotic birds and animals, coexisting to form biodiversity. The park opens up early in the morning to aid birdwatchers.

Day 8Katha – Kandy Shopping tour & Spice Garden

Today attend Ramayana Katha in morning. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing. Today we will visit Kandy. Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka located in the Central Province. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. At Spice Garden, experience how clover, pepper, ginger and saffron are grown in natural environment. Time free for shopping. Later return to Nuwarya Eliya. Overnight at Nuwarya Eliya hotel.

Day 9Katha – Day free

After Katha In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, time free to enjoy hotel facilities.

In the first half of day, attend Ramayana Katha. Afterwards, proceed to Bentota. Check in to hotel. Time free to enjoy hotel facilities. Overnight at Bentota hotel.

Day 11Madhu Ganga at Balapotiya & Turtle farm Kosgoda

Madhu Ganga at Balapotiya & Turtle farm Kosgoda Today, we start our day by  xploring the coastal town of Balapitiyathrough a boat ride in Madu River. Afterwards, we visit Turtle farm. You can get to see up to five endangered species out of seven species of margin turtles in the world here. You will be guided throughout the process of protecting and proper hatching of the sea turtles while visiting the hatchery.

Day 12Colombo city tour, Anjiniorkovil & Vibushana temple

Today, we start our day with Colombo panoramic city tour. The tour will expose you to the brimming culture and history that is existing in Colombo. We also  isitAnjiniorkovil&Vibushana temple. Anjiniorkovilis dedicated to God Hanuman. The  Temple is considered to be the only Hindu shrine in the country where a statue of Hanuman with  Panchamuga (five faced) is found.

  • 100% non-refundable booking amount

Cancellation Charges:

The cost of this package is subject to the below cancellation policy. The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. The following cancellation charges will be applicable over & above the nonrefundable booking deposit if any passengers cancel the tour because of any reason.

  • 60 days before departure – NIL
  • 30 Days to 59 days before departure – 25% of the balance tour cost
  • 29 days to 15 days before departure – 75% of the balance tour cost
  • Less than 14 days and No show – 100% of the balance tour cost

Clients are requested to read the above cancellation policy before confirming the tour.

The above cancellation charges are applicable even if the cancellation is because of delay/refusal of visa by the embassy/high commission because of an reason

Additional Information

  • Water is included during meals. Other beverages will be charged extra payable to the restaurant/venue.
  • If some members arriving earlier than the other group members, they will be provided accommodation at the airport before going to Nuwara eliya.
  • The decision to grant visa is taken solely by Embassy/High Commission of the respective Dewan Travels Pvt Ltd is not responsible in case visa is delayed/not granted to  he client for any reason.
